WCS assesses storm damage, school in session March 29

From WCS inFocus

Williamson County Schools (WCS) will be open tomorrow, Monday, March 29. All school campuses except Westwood Elementary will be open. Westwood students will learn remotely on March 29.

“Our staff consulted with Williamson County Emergency Management and staff visited schools to assess the damage storm systems could have caused. While most of our buildings were unaffected, crews worked to clean up storm damage to those that were, and the cleanup was finalized in all schools except Westwood Elementary. Westwood students will be learning remotely tomorrow, ”read an email to WCS families.

Families should also be aware that a few bus routes may still be affected by high water tomorrow and bus drivers may need to make adjustments to the routes.

If your family has been affected by the storm and your child cannot go to school tomorrow, please let your school administration know.
