Following all the Silent Hill announcements yesterday, fans are wondering what happened to the game that was ranked in Korea last month?
In case you missed it, last night Konami hosted the Silent Hill: Transmission livestream which featured four game reveals and other fun stuff for fans of the survival horror game to look forward to. One thing was noticeably missing from the show and that was the official reveal of Silent Hill: the short message – a game that was quietly rated in Korea last month.
I literally completely forgot Silent Hill A Short Message, where was that?October 20, 2022
so silent hill f is just silent hill 5 or?? ALSO WE CANNOT SEE THE SILENT HILL A SHORT MESSAGEOctober 19, 2022
The note didn’t reveal anything about this mysterious title beyond the fact that it’s apparently published by a company called “Uniana,” which has a history of releasing Konami games in South Korea. It wouldn’t be too surprising if it turns out that Konami has more than the four Silent Hill games revealed yesterday in the works. Especially considering that multiple sources claimed the company had “several” games in development.
As for what we certainly know is coming, yesterday we discovered the Silent Hill 2 remake which is currently in development with The Medium and Blair Witch studio Bloober Team, as well as Silent Hill: Fall of the City which is a collaboration between independent studio No Code and publisher Annapurna Interactive. We also now know Silent hill fa brand new game in the series featuring an acclaimed storyteller Ryukishi07and Silent Hill Climb which is a “live, real-time interactive series” that a number of developers are working on, including the team behind Dead by Daylight.
