Runners young and old were back on the streets of Redlands on Saturday April 23, for the first time in three years as the 2022 Redlands Classic Bike flew to its climax.

Saturday included downtown contests for 3-17 year olds, an amateur ride, a BMX show, a PossAbilities paracycle relay race and the Redlands City Criterium for men and women.

Events end Sunday with registration beginning at 6 a.m. Events include the Sunset Road Race, novice and pro races, a community ride, and the PossAbilities Paracycle Criterium. A para-cycling clinic is scheduled for 10 a.m. on the lower level of the parking structure at Citrus Avenue and Fifth Street.

On break during the coronavirus pandemicthe classic was last outfit in 2019. This is the 36th year that the event has taken place.
