Quiz, Dumb Charades Mark1st Day Of Patna Mind Fest | Patna News

Patna: The fourth edition of the Patna Mind Fest kicked off on Saturday with a series of activities, including quiz, stupid charades and creative writing.
The festival, organized by the Bihar Chapter of the IAS Officers Association, in association with the Patna-based civil society initiative Extra-C, was opened by Chief Secretary Amir Subhani. Speaking at the inaugural event, Subhani emphasized the development of children’s personality. “Activities like quizzes, crosswords and bee word should not be classified as extracurricular activities. Instead, they should be treated as an integral part of college and school curricula. Regular education should incorporate personality development studies,” he said and hailed the initiative of the IAS Officers Association, Bihar branch.
India Quiz, Dumb Charades, Word Bee, creative writing competitions were held on Saturday. Students from different schools and colleges as well as the general public participated in the competitions. A/10 Quiz Club, a team consisting of Brajendu Bhadkar, Abhishek Kumar and Vivek Kumar Singh got the first position in India quiz. No less than 130 teams took part in the Indian quiz, which included a written preliminary round and a stage final.
The SMS team consisting of Srishti Rathore, Swasti Verma and Muzammil Karim from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bailey Road won the silly charades contest by giving an answer in 12 seconds.
Other dignitaries present at the occasion included Development Commissioner Vivek Kumar Singh, Secretary (Rural Development) Balamurugan D, Additional Secretary (Finance) Mithilesh Mishra, Director (Industries) Pankaj Dixit and Joint Secretary (Health ) Anshul Agrawal.
