Adidas appoints Alasdhair Willis as creative director. The former creative director of Hunter and co-founder of Wallpaper* Magazine, has worked with Adidas on a number of projects, including the development of Adidas by Stella McCartney. Willis will report to Global Brands Board Member Brian Grevy beginning in April.
David Greenburg appointed Managing Director of L’Oréal USA, President North America. The long-time leader and current President of L’Oréal’s Professional Products Division in North America will succeed Stéphane Rinderknech. Previously, he was President of Maybelline, Garnier and Essie within the Consumer Products Division of L’Oréal USA.
AZ Factory announces partnership with Thebe Magugu. The South African designer and winner of the 2019 LVMH Prize will be the first “Amigo” from the brand founded by Alber Elbaz, as part of a new initiative that will rotate guest talent to design products.

Ralph Lauren shakes up his digital team. Alice Delahunt, Chief Digital and Content Officer, will be leaving the company on March 31. Chief Information Officer Janet Sherlock will become Chief Digital and Technology Officer, while Iris Langlois-Meurinne, Chief Marketing Officer for EMEA and Latin America, has been promoted to Global Chief Marketing Officer. David Lauren, chief brand and information officer, will lead the company’s advertising and content design teams.
Ralph Lauren chief commercial officer resigns over misconduct allegations. Howard Smith, a 20-year veteran of the company, resigned immediately after an investigation. A replacement for Smith, who will officially depart on April 2, has not been named.

Koché designer helps relaunch French shoe brand Charles Jourdan. Christelle Kocher, founder and designer of the Koché brand and artistic director of Chanel-backed Lemarié, has taken on the role of creative director for historic French shoemaker Charles Jourdan. The brand released its comeback collection on March 3.
Theory appoints new leaders. Jeffrey Kalinsky will serve as Chief Merchandiser and Chief Creative Officer of the brand (a newly created role), and Rachel DeLaurentis will serve as Chief Marketing and Digital Officer.
Browns appoints creative beauty editor-in-residence. Ahead of the retailer’s expansion into beauty, he will add Nellie Eden, founder of Eden Creative agency, to the team. She will work closely with Browns’ brand and buying teams to prepare for the launch of the category.
P&G creates a specialized beauty division and calls on Chris Heiert to lead it. According to WWD, the former senior vice president, head of skincare and branded franchises in North America, will oversee the conglomerate’s specialty and prestige retail channels, reporting to P&G Beauty chief executive Alex Keith. .
