MELBOURNE, Florida – (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) won the initial planning and design phase of a potential 10-year $ 343 million (USD) contract to modernize Airservices Australia’s telecommunications network at scale of the company.

NTT Australia will provide the overall network and site design for the business and operations, air traffic network and telecommunications;
Thales Australia will provide the system design for the new ADS-B surveillance service and engineering services to ensure a safe and secure implementation;
Rohde & Schwarz Australia to provide design services to modernize the national VHF radio network with its latest version of VHF voice over IP air traffic control radios; and
Ventia will provide site audit, system site design and installation planning services for this initial phase of the program.
