Creative Oklahoma announced the addition by the Oklahoma Entrepreneur Mentoring Program (OKEMP) of 10 dynamic and stimulating industry entrepreneurs to its mentoring program, including two from Northeast Oklahoma.
OKEMP is licensed and modeled on the Venture Mentoring Service (MIT VMS) of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
OKEMP is a non-profit program providing free in-person mentoring and business coaching to emerging entrepreneurs for their entire entrepreneurial journey.
Each entrepreneur is paired with a core team of seasoned and seasoned Oklahoma business leaders who volunteer their time and talents as mentors.
OKEMP’s team mentoring approach is premised on the premise that when an entrepreneur is connected to a team of highly trained volunteer mentors for objective, non-confrontational advice, the entrepreneur and their business are more likely to succeed. to succeed.
OKEMP provides entrepreneurs with direct, actionable and pragmatic advice informed by the knowledge and real-world experience of mentors.
Prior to this year, the program focused its selected applicants in the Oklahoma City metro area, but is now expanding to other areas of the state.
