The partnership aims to develop a proof of concept and pave the way for offshore data centers that address the challenges of land scarcity and energy efficiency in Singapore

As part of this MOU, each party will bring a unique element to advance the development of sustainable ocean data centers:

  • BDx will provide the data center arrangement as well as the technical proposal and operational strategy;

  • NUS Engineering will provide its cooling technology as well as metrics to achieve relevant energy efficiency goals; and

  • Sembcorp Marine will provide an offshore platform solution
