AlumaSafway, a BrandSafway company, and LDC Ventures, a Haisla Nation member company, announce a new partnership.
“Appropriate economic development creates self-sufficiency for our people,” said Trisha Grant, President of LDC Ventures. “By working with AlumaSafway, we are strengthening our shared vision to advance the work we do and can pursue local construction contracts in the region, providing economic prosperity for members of the Haisla Nation.
Following the partnership agreement, AlumaSafway will provide skills development and employment opportunities, while LDC Ventures will provide local expertise and commitment to advancing AlumaSafway’s work on the many industrial services projects in the northern region of British Columbia. AlumaSafway offers a number of industrial services including scaffolding, insulation, rope access, refractory, fireproofing and coatings. The company’s wide range of services enable it to deliver value to its customers, while providing lucrative employment opportunities to the communities in which it operates.
“This is an expansion of our ongoing support for the Indigenous community and our customers in Canada,” said Sean Sylvestre, Vice President of Western Canada for AlumaSafway. “This partnership is essential to continue local construction contracts, including work on the liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility under construction in Haisla territory.”
